I'm married to a wonderful man who is very supportive. We've been together for almost 23 years. I was diagnosed December 2005, so this is all new to
me. I have 2 beautiful dogs. both were rescued a lab/rottweiler mix named Dallis and a doberman named Austin. They are both female and are very affectionate
and protective. I do not worry about being home alone in a rural area, no one in their right mind would come near me. Even our neighbor who does well with the
dogs knows not to even drop off produce unless my husband is home. I also have a wonderful sister who has 2 little boys, they are both my godchildren and I
adore them. she is my best friend next to my husband and I wouldn't know what to do without her. I try to be optimistic, but it's hard. This is all so
new to me and overhelming. I keep thinking I'll get better, but it just doesn't happen.
